Neverness to Everness 1.3 — “Rising from the Moonlight Fog” (CN: 雾中朔望星回) — is the next version of Hotta Studio’s supernatural urban open-world RPG. It arrives in two waves:

The countdown above runs to the global date. If you play on CN, your date is six days earlier.

The 19 August downtime is official: 06:00–11:00 (UTC+8), confirmed by the global 1.3 patch notes posted on 18 August — for most of the Americas that is the evening of 18 August, with servers back at 20:00 PDT / 23:00 EDT. The full timezone table is on our NTE server status page.

The six-day gap is the schedule, not a delay

Timeline: CN servers update 13 August, global servers 19 August — six days apart — CN second half on 3 September
The 1.3 rollout at a glance

This is the thing most coverage gets wrong or skips. NTE’s CN version launched on 23 April 2026; the global version followed on 29 April. Every version since has kept that offset, and 1.3 keeps it too: 13 August CN, 19 August global.

So if you are on the international version watching CN players stream Duskmoor six days early — that is working as designed. Global is not slipping; it has never been day-and-date with CN.

It also means CN launch week doubles as a preview of what breaks. If 1.3 ships with a crash or a broken quest on CN servers on the 13th, global players get six days of warning — and we will note anything that carries over.

What time does it unlock?

Global servers are live: 1.3 opened on schedule at 11:00 (UTC+8) on 19 August — confirmed within minutes by players in-game on the PC launcher and PS5. The patch notes had set the window at 06:00–11:00 (UTC+8) — the same schedule every NTE maintenance has used — and note it may end earlier or later depending on progress. Compensation is 600 Annuliths total (300 maintenance + 300 bug-fix) by in-game mail, for characters created before 06:00; Hunter Lvl 11+ players also get a supply event after the update. No redemption codes were issued with the notice — exactly the CN pattern.

Neverness to Everness codes (expired)

These codes expired on 10 August 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+8). We keep them here as a record rather than quietly deleting them — the next batch is expected with the 1.3 version launch, and will be posted the moment it drops. The three codes from the 8 August preview livestream were:

That was 300 Annuliths total, issued for both CN and global. As stated on this page before the deadline, they expired before the version itself launches on either server — livestream codes for this game are short-lived by design. If you missed them: version launches usually bring fresh codes, and this page gets them the moment they are live.

What is in 1.3

Banners and pull rewards

Banners run in two halves, each 21 days:

Cumulative-pull rewards for the first half are confirmed: a glider at 50 pulls, a beach-buggy skin at 120, and one of Zankou’s outfits at 200.

The new area: Duskmoor

The headline of the version. Duskmoor is roughly as large as the five existing districts combined — the playable map effectively doubles. The terrain spans mountains, a seaside town, highway settlements, beaches, jungle and highlands; the vehicle-challenge mode gains new rally routes here, and the beach volleyball and summer content all live on this coast.

There is also “Fogden”, a story-only anomaly map — by the official’s own description a one-time set piece you will mostly revisit for photos.

New main-story chapter

The “Fogden Game” episode closes out the opening arc: the rescue of Nanally and the final reckoning with the Red Script faction, and a long-teased new character makes her story debut.

Three vehicles and standalone housing

The much-requested standalone home arrives: a detached countryside villa with its own farming plot — and crops can be sold for Beetle Coins.

13 new outfits

Zankou gets five (one free with the character, one premium store outfit with effects, one from cumulative pulls, one from affinity, one swimsuit), Linko gets three, and a summer swimsuit line covers the protagonist, Mint, Nanally and Chaos.

Seven new game modes

Three existing minigames also become permanent fixtures.

Ten timed events

Volleyball, jet-ski racing and salvage events, a combat-event rerun, the roguelite, a cycling tour, a stamina-efficiency doubler, doubled heist earnings, doubled material drops (120 stamina per day, bankable), and doubled weekly Beetle-Coin rewards (700-stamina cap — roughly 700k extra). All pay out Annuliths on completion.

Welfare and quality-of-life

A seven-day login event pays 10 Solid Dice, and a mail drop of 56,000 upgrade jam lets newer accounts clear the event shop. Notable QoL: a random-outfit rotation (context-aware — school, home and swimming switch outfits automatically), a second-confirmation on the one-per-account gift letter, a minimap for the heist mode at last, reduced difficulty on Appraisal 5+ bosses, weekly-grind relief at Tycoon 16, and sellable farm produce.

1.4 teaser: the amusement park

The stream closed with a look at the next version: the Pukaland amusement-park area — carousel, roller coaster, drop tower, haunted house and Ferris wheel all visible in the teaser. (An earlier revision of this page rendered the name “Pucca Park”; Pukaland is the name on the in-game map.) The 1.4 countdown page now tracks the next version — dates, the Blackbird and Akane Rin reveals, and what stays unannounced.

Neverness to Everness 1.3 guides

Looking past 1.3:

What we will cover on day one

Version day for a live-service game means update errors, login queues and platform-specific failures — twice, in this game’s case: once on the 13th for CN, once on the 19th for global. The launch-week guides show how we cover that. Anything that breaks on CN and survives to the global build gets called out ahead of the 19th.

FAQ

When does NTE 1.3 come out?

CN servers: after the 13 August 2026 update, per the official CN announcement. Global servers (EN/JP/KR/TW): 19 August 2026, per the official announcement relayed by press. The two dates are separately confirmed — the gap is real.

Why does the CN version get 1.3 six days before global?

It is structural. NTE's CN version launched on 23 April 2026 and the global version on 29 April, and version updates have kept that offset since. Global is not being delayed — it runs six days behind by schedule.

What time does NTE 1.3 unlock?

Confirmed by the official global patch notes: maintenance runs 19 August 2026, 06:00–11:00 (UTC+8), and 1.3 goes live when it ends. 11:00 UTC+8 is 20:00 PDT / 23:00 EDT on 18 August, and 04:00 BST on 19 August. Compensation is 600 Annuliths total (300 maintenance + 300 bug-fix) by in-game mail for characters created before 06:00. The notice warns the window may end earlier or later; our [server status page](/blog/nte-server-status/) tracks the live state.

What is new in NTE 1.3?

New playable Espers Zankou (main DPS) and Linko (support), the Duskmoor area — roughly as large as the five existing districts combined — a new story chapter, the game's first water vehicle, standalone housing, 2v2 beach volleyball and a 99-floor climbing tower. First-half banners: Zankou plus a Nanally rerun (19 August to 9 September on global); the second half pairs Linko with another 1.0 rerun.

Are there redemption codes for NTE 1.3?

No. The official global 1.3 patch notes contain no redemption codes — launch compensation (600 Annuliths) comes by in-game mail instead, exactly as on CN. The three preview-livestream codes (FOGDENGAME, EYEOFDELUSION, SUMMERTIME) expired on 10 August at 23:59 (UTC+8). If codes appear later they enter our tracker the same day.
