Linko build and teams: what CN's launch day says, now that global has her (9 to 30 September)

One-line verdict (CN launch-day consensus): Linko is a Plasma sub-DPS whose real job is to make the Inscription follow-up system hit harder — a large upgrade for a well-built Zankou, an average one for a budget Zankou, and skippable if you do not run Inscription at all. CN got her on 3 September; global players get her with the second half of 1.3, expected from 9 September. This is the build as CN’s first day describes it, from three guides that do not cite each other.

Terms: Inscription (CN 覆紋) is the follow-up-attack system Zankou and Nanally already run; Sync Strike is our placeholder for her signature mechanic (CN 同頻合擊, a special assist that counts as a follow-up attack) until the global build names it; loop is the CN 環合 stat, as on the Zankou build page.

What she actually does

1. Inscription amplifier. Her core passive raises the extra follow-up base of Inscription from 20% to 30% — CN reads it as a separate ~10% multiplier on Esper damage — plus 10% more damage on follow-up attacks. For Zankou and Nanally, who already have follow-ups, that is stacked on top of what they do.
2. Resistance shred. Her Sync Strike applies 8% multi-attribute resistance reduction; her ultimate can trigger it up to three times. CN’s arithmetic: even against a target at 0% base resistance that is a ~7.4% damage increase, and more against resistant enemies.
3. Real sub-DPS numbers. Her ultimate and Sync Strikes add a second damage source without eating much field time — “icing for a strong carry, a rescue for a weak one” is the CN phrasing.
4. Two useful dupes. A5 lets a Sync Strike trigger an instant loop, raising generation frequency and Inscription uptime; A6 gives teammates energy on their Sync Strikes, smoothing the ultimate cycle.

Four teams, ranked as CN ranks them

Adjacency note from the CN sheet: Linko’s neighbouring loop attributes are Light and Incantation, which is why Sakiri and Iroi are the default flanks.

Arc: the signature first, the subscription arc second

• Signature (CN 遠行者之聲): 570 base ATK, 24% crit rate; passive at rank 1: +24% ATK, +66% assist-skill crit damage, +22%×3 ultimate crit damage. CN puts it first without debate.
• Budget: the Lunite-subscription arc (CN 不屈之綿), then Nanally’s signature or 鯨之歌 / 焰魂狂飆 as stopgaps. None of these needs a pull.

Cartridges and the panel

• Set: CN 森林螢火之心 (EN name pending the global build).
• Main stat: Plasma damage if you have a good one; crit damage as the placeholder.
• Substats: crit rate / crit damage first, then ATK% and damage boost. With the signature arc, “double crit is enough”.
• Skill order: assist skill (her main damage) → ultimate → skill (E).

Should you pull?

• Yes if you have Zankou and the Inscription team is not finished. CN’s estimate for a 0+0 Linko replacing a 0+1 Iroi in the Zankou team is roughly +10% team DPS — one author’s number, so treat it as an order of magnitude.
• Maybe if you have a strong Nanally and 浔 and want the direct-damage team; then A5 is the target, which is a very different budget.
• No if you do not run Inscription, or if your dice are earmarked for 1.4’s Blackbird (CN 黑羽) — CN players are openly weighing “a hard pity on Linko delays Blackbird”.
• Materials are the usual sink; the launch-week caveat CN keeps repeating is “don’t pull what you can’t afford to level”.
