DayOneFix ("we", "our", "the site") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect Directly

We do not require accounts or personal information to play any game on the site. We do not collect names, emails, or addresses unless you voluntarily send them via our contact email.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, page accessed, timestamp). These logs are used for security and traffic analysis only, and are retained for a limited time.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Essential — to remember your language preference and recent activity within a session.
• Analytics — to understand which games are popular and which pages need improvement.
• Advertising — to display ads via our advertising partner (see below).

Third-Party Advertising

DayOneFix currently serves no third-party advertising. We previously ran Adsterra banner units. We removed them on 16 August 2026 because the network kept producing pop-up windows we had not opted into and could not suppress — including, in one case, a page impersonating a premium-SMS subscription prompt. Ad revenue is not worth exposing readers to that, so no ad network runs on this site at present.

If we add an advertising provider in future — Google AdSense or otherwise — this policy will be updated to name it before it goes live, along with what it may set on your device.

You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings, and from participating third-party vendors at aboutads.info and Your Online Choices (EU).

External Links and Embedded Media

DayOneFix no longer hosts or embeds playable games; those pages were retired in August 2026. Our articles link out to official sources — publisher announcements, store pages and official social posts — and may embed official images. Following an external link places you under that site's own privacy practices, which are independent of ours.

Children's Privacy

DayOneFix is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our guides are written for a general audience of adult and teenage players and are not designed to appeal to children; we do not serve interest-based advertising to any user we know to be under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights
