NTE 1.4 is dated: CN 24 September, with the global date still a derivation
Neverness to Everness 1.4 is expected around
30 September 2026
This date is derived from the release cadence — the publisher has not announced it. The countdown is a planning aid, not a confirmed moment; the page switches to the official date the day one is posted.
The exact unlock time has not been announced. The countdown above runs to midnight where you are, which is the earliest the date can start for you — not a confirmed unlock moment. We update this page as soon as the publisher or the store page states a time.
CN is now dated. The official 异环 account's own recap of the 16 September preview stream says 1.4「祷歌为谁而诵」opens after maintenance on 24 September — the same wording appears on the official 1.4 PV. Global has still not been dated: 30 September here is a derivation from the six-day CN-to-global offset that 1.3 used (CN 13 August, global 19 August), and it is labelled as one.

Updated 17 September: CN 1.4 now has an official date. The preview stream aired on the evening of 16 September, and the official 异环 account’s own recap says 1.4「祷歌为谁而诵」opens after maintenance on 24 September — the same line appears on the official 1.4 PV published the next day. That is exactly the date this page had derived, so the countdown does not move; what changes is that half of it is no longer a derivation.
Global is still undated. 30 September here remains ours, not Hotta’s.
The dates now: one official, one derived
| Date | Status | |
|---|---|---|
| CN 1.4 | 24 September, after maintenance | Official — the 异环 account’s recap of the 16 September stream, and the 1.4 PV |
| Global 1.4 | 30 September | Derived by us, from the six-day CN→global offset 1.3 used |
| CN phase 2 | 15 October | Reported from the stream by community recaps, not by a post we can link |
| Maintenance pattern | 06:00–11:00 (UTC+8) | Every version so far; the CN unlock lands at the end of it |
The derivation that produced 24 September was the six-week cadence plus the six-day CN offset, and it came out on the nose. That is why 30 September is worth taking seriously for global — but it is still arithmetic, not an announcement, and this page will switch to the official clock the day the global notice posts.
What is already official
Blackbird is playable in 1.4. Her character art went up on the official account on 23 August — the fortune-reading steward of the Witch’s House becomes the game’s first limited 5★ Anima unit, and the reveal card carries her English name and the S-rank Anima marks itself. By reveal order she is the phase-one banner.
Akane Rin follows. Art posted 24 August, one day later — the breakout character of the band story, slotted by that order as phase two. CN discussion immediately put her popularity above Blackbird’s.
Pukaland opens. The park southeast of New Herland has been on the map since launch, gates shut. The official 1.3 stream closed on it: carousel, roller coaster, drop tower, haunted house, Ferris wheel.
The banner structure, from the stream
Reported consistently across three independent CN recaps of the 16 September stream. Hotta has not published a text post listing these, so they are stream-read rather than link-checkable:
| Phase 1 — from 24 Sep | Phase 2 — from 15 Oct | |
|---|---|---|
| New 5★ | Blackbird — S-rank Anima, main DPS with a dual-mode kit, and she can fly in the open world | Akane Rin — S-rank, the attribute CN calls 相 |
| Rerun | Lacrimosa | None |
| Length | 21 days | 21 days |
Our earlier prediction was half right, and the wrong half is worth saying out loud. This page previously carried the CN community’s cadence-reading: Lacrimosa in phase one, Chaos in phase two. Lacrimosa landed. Chaos did not — phase two has no character rerun at all. If you were budgeting Annuliths on the assumption of a second rerun to skip, that assumption is gone.
We are not giving Akane Rin’s attribute an English name. Her reveal card shows the S-rank mark; the English term for 相 has not appeared in a source we have read, and inventing one is how wrong names spread.
Pukaland, and what else the stream showed
Pukaland opens with 1.4 — maze, haunted house, roller coaster, drop tower, pendulum ride, smaller minigames, and a fireworks show at night. That is more than the 1.3 teaser showed.
Also reported from the stream, same three-recap basis:
- Porsche collaboration, second wave — two new cars, obtained through blind-box pulls
- A separate city-tycoon track called 噗卡计划, running independently of the existing one and progressing off accumulated Fons
- Monthly-pass rework — higher level cap and rewards; the weapon-selector box becomes convertible to Fons
- Extra pulls beyond the usual seven-day sign-in
The codes are live now, and they die on 20 September
The stream handed out three 100-Annulith codes plus one materials code, expiring 20 September 23:59 (UTC+8) — the same four-day fuse every NTE preview stream has used. The four codes and how to redeem them →

Sources
The 24 September CN date is first-party, from the official 异环 Bilibili account: its recap of the 16 September preview special and the 1.4 version PV both carry the line “1.4版本「祷歌为谁而诵」将于9月24日版本更新后开启”. Hotta published no text post listing the banners, so the banner line-up, the 15 October phase-two date, Pukaland’s contents, the Porsche wave and the monthly-pass changes are read off the stream — we cross-checked three independent CN recaps and kept the narrower claim wherever they disagreed. The global date is ours.
The cadence anchors are official patch notes: 1.2’s (8 July maintenance, 06:00–11:00 UTC+8) and 1.3’s (19 August) — 42 days apart. The six-day CN offset is documented on our schedule page. The Pukaland teaser is the official 1.3 livestream; the area’s name and locked-since-launch status are on GameWith’s area page. The Blackbird and Akane Rin reveals were posted on official CN channels on 23 and 24 August and relayed in CN community coverage the same days; Sportskeeda carried them in English. Blackbird’s Anima typing matches between CN coverage (魂) and Game8’s rendering; Akane Rin’s element type has no settled English rendering yet, so this page does not print one. The Lacrimosa and Chaos rerun expectations are CN community cadence-reading — labelled as such above — and the derived dates are ours. No number on this page’s date line is official, and every place it appears says so.
FAQ
When does NTE 1.4 come out?
Derived, not announced: around 24 September 2026 on CN and 30 September globally. NTE runs six-week versions (1.2 hit global 8 July, 1.3 on 19 August — official patch notes both times), and the CN build runs six days ahead of global by design. Hotta has published no 1.4 date; when the official notice posts, this page switches to it.
What time does NTE 1.4 unlock?
Not announced. Every version so far — 1.2 and 1.3 included — ran maintenance 06:00 to 11:00 (UTC+8) and unlocked when it ended. If the 30 September derivation holds, that is the evening of 29 September in the Americas. Pattern, not announcement.
Who are the NTE 1.4 characters?
Officially revealed: Blackbird, the steward of the Witch's House, had her character art posted on official CN channels on 23 August — the game's first limited 5-star of the Anima type — and Akane Rin, the band-story character, followed on 24 August, slotted by the reveal order as the phase-two banner. Rerun expectations (Lacrimosa in phase one, Chaos in phase two) are community cadence-reading, not announcements.
When is the NTE 1.4 livestream?
Around 19 September if the pattern holds — the 1.3 stream aired 8 August, five days before the CN launch. Not announced. NTE streams hand out three redemption codes each time; they land on our codes page the moment the stream airs.
Is Pukaland in 1.4?
Yes — this one is official. The amusement park southeast of New Herland, visible but locked since launch, was teased at the end of the official 1.3 livestream as next-version content: carousel, roller coaster, drop tower, haunted house and Ferris wheel.
Why does CN get 1.4 before global?
The six-day gap is the schedule, not a delay — CN and global run separate builds on a fixed offset. Our CN-vs-global schedule page explains the whole system, including what it means for guide coverage: anything that breaks on CN gets called out before it reaches the global build.
Are there NTE 1.4 codes yet?
Not yet. The three-code batch comes with the 1.4 livestream, as it has every version. Codes expire fast; the current working list lives on our codes page.
