Wuthering Waves 3.6 banners
By DayOneFix Editorial · August 14, 2026
Unusually for a banner page, nothing here is a leak. Kuro’s 7 August special program laid out both phases of 3.6 in full, so this is a planning page rather than a prediction page.
Looking for the ongoing schedule rather than this version? The banner schedule page tracks what is running now, what is confirmed next, and the three-week cadence.
Phase 1 — from 20 August
| Debut | Qingxiao — 5-star Aero, sword |
| Rerun | Denia |
| Weapons | Glint of Clouds (Qingxiao’s signature) + Forged Dwarf Star rerun |
Qingxiao is the version’s sword-immortal. Her basic attacks charge twin gauges that unlock an empowered stance for wide-area Aero damage, and the kit sits squarely in the coordinated-attack archetype — which is the important part for your wallet: she is built around specific teammates rather than dropping into anything. If you do not already run that archetype, her practical value is lower than her showcase suggests.
Phase 2 — from 10 September
| Reruns | Hiyuki — [Thousand Futures Mirrored in Snow] |
| Mornye — [Distant May the Starlights Be] | |
| Weapons | [Frostburn] + [Starfield Calibrator] |
| 4-stars | Mortefi, Aalto, Yuanwu |
| Runs | 10 September 10:00 – 29 September 11:59 (server time) |
There is no debut in phase 2 — both 5-stars are reruns. Kuro’s own phase 2 convene notice, published 8 September, lists exactly two Resonator banners and two weapon banners, and Jingran is in none of them.
About Jingran: he got his Profile Reveal on 4 September, which is the treatment a Resonator gets shortly before a banner — Qingxiao’s came six days before her debut. But Kuro has not published a convene article for him, and phase 2 has been live since 10 September without one. So he is coming; which version he lands in has not been announced. We corrected this page on 14 September: it previously listed him as a phase 2 debut with a signature weapon, which the official notice does not support.
How to split your Astrites
The two phases are three weeks apart inside a single version, which is the whole planning problem:
- Phase 1 only rewards you if you have the coordinated-attack pieces. Qingxiao without them is a showcase, not an upgrade.
- Phase 2 asks a different question. With no debut to chase, the only reason to spend is that you want Hiyuki or Mornye specifically — and reruns come back on their own schedule, usually much later than a debut you can wait out. That cuts both ways: no FOMO from a new kit, but a genuine “this is the window” for these two.
- Saving through phase 2 is a real option this time. A phase with two reruns and no debut is the cheapest phase to skip, and Jingran’s banner has to land somewhere.
- Weapon banners are the easiest thing to cut if you are short. Signature weapons are a percentage upgrade; the character is the unlock.
If your Astrite pile only covers one of the two phases, the honest question is not “who is stronger” but “which one do I already have a team for”.
Dates and what could still move
3.6 begins on 20 August and phase 2 opens on 10 September. Kuro publishes the exact maintenance window a couple of days beforehand — the countdown page carries it in your timezone as soon as it is posted, along with the compensation.
What is not settled: version-launch codes. The 7 August program’s three codes expired on 9 August, and the next batch typically arrives with the update itself — tracked here with expiry times.
