Qingxiao in Wuthering Waves 3.6 — kit, team and whether to pull
By DayOneFix Editorial · August 11, 2026
Qingxiao headlines phase 1 of Wuthering Waves 3.6 from 20 August — the version’s sword-immortal, a 5-star Aero sword Resonator built for the coordinated-attack archetype. Official-program facts first, community read clearly labelled.
The kit, as officially shown
Her basic attacks charge twin gauges — one lyre-hearted, one blade-souled, per the version’s qin-and-sword theme. Fill both and a charged strike enters her empowered immortal stance; building a further stack inside it unleashes a finishing heavy strike with large wide-area Aero damage. It is a rhythm kit: charge, transform, spend, finish.
Why she is welded to one team
The mechanical hook: when teammates trigger coordinated attacks, the target gets stacked with a mark that — per CN roundups of the program — feeds Qingxiao up to ~65% combined damage amplification. That makes her ceiling inseparable from a dedicated coordinated-attack core, with Denia (conveniently rerunning alongside her) and Mornye named as the intended partners.
The CN community’s pull calculus is unusually unanimous:
- Running Denia/Mornye already → Qingxiao is the missing top piece.
- No coordinated-attack investment → her cost balloons; consider skipping.
- Her signature 5-star sword (defense-ignore on stacks) is first choice; the mid-tier crit sword works on a budget.
- Chain value: the second node (heavy-strike multiplier + faster ramp) is the consensus value stop.
All of that is pre-launch reporting on test builds — treat numbers as directional until live.
What we verify at launch
- The amplification’s real uptime in rotation (stacking speed decides everything)
- Whether her rumored personal sword-flight exploration skill exists and how it works
- Actual crit thresholds once real Echo stats are in hand
Verification lands here at launch; the 3.6 countdown page tracks the release window itself.
