Everything in Infinity Nikki 2.9, in Infold's own English

By DayOneFix Editorial · August 24, 2026

On 24 August 2026, this page recorded a readable English post for Infinity Nikki 2.9. Infold’s Traditional Chinese notice had gone up on 23 August with a body made of three images and no text layer; the English news site had no corresponding post at that point. The English post available when this page was published carried the official names used below, ahead of the 27 August update.

This page is 2.9’s event list under those names. For how the date is pinned down to the minute, see the 2.9 countdown page; for the banner, Where Flowers Wake gets its own page, because the pull promotion attached to it changes how you should spend.

The official English event image prints it plainly:

After the Version 2.9 update on August 27, 2026 — September 23, 2026, 12:49 (UTC-7)

The Traditional Chinese notice prints the same instant natively as 2026年8月28日2.9版本更新後 — 2026年9月24日03:49(UTC+8). One moment, two clocks, fifteen hours apart. Every 2.9 event in the list below shares that window, so there is one deadline to remember, not eight.

The frame: a summer camp for doing nothing

2.9 is not built around a boss or a new region. It is built around a camp. The Shroom-Friend Summer Camp opens in Elderwood Forest, and Infold’s own copy for it is unusually direct about the mood:

“Are you ready to find your place and embrace a new life? The Shroom-Friend Summer Camp is where you can discover the world and yourself!”

The version’s tagline is the same idea in one line — “Do not fear that the world is too big, and do not doubt your own worth. Be brave and take that first step.” If you have been putting off Itzaland because it felt like homework, this is the version that is explicitly not that.

The clubs, and who runs them

The camp is organised into clubs, and the official schedule image names four of them with their leaders. It also ends in an ellipsis, so this is a partial list by Infold’s own admission:

Shroomlings Think, Therefore Shroomlings ExistShroomkrates
Wonderful HerbsLumira
Snail CaretakersUrili
Dig The New WorldAventura

Three of the four minigames below take place at a club’s grounds, so this table is the map between “which event am I doing” and “where do I stand”. The Heartvoice Tree-Hollow is the camp’s other fixture: always open, and in the Summer Camp Assistant’s words, a place to “send in anything that’s been worrying you or weighing on your mind.”

Limited-Time Exclusive Quest: A Carefree Summer

The version’s main event, and the one carrying the permanent rewards. Infold’s own description:

“Join the Shroom-Friend Summer Camp! Spend a carefree summer where the flowers of the heart can bloom and embrace love and courage.”

What it pays out, per the official English notice: Resonite Crystals, Diamonds, growth materials, the neckwear sketch Future View, and the earring sketch Heartward Warmth.

There is a second, easily-missed layer. While the task page is open in the Events interface, completing tasks gives additional rewards on top — extra Diamonds and the limited card Sunny Adventure. The card only exists inside that window. If you clear the quest after the Events page closes, you get the quest rewards and not the bonus, which is the kind of thing you only find out about afterwards.

The two sketches are accessories, not sets. Future View is neckwear and Heartward Warmth is earrings. If you were hoping the free quest track hands you an outfit, it does not.

Limited-Time World & Random Quest Series: Sunlit Prologue

A pair of quest lines rather than an event stage, and worth understanding as a page rather than as content, because the page is what expires:

Rewards are Diamonds and growth materials. Infold’s phrasing for the equivalent 2.8 structure was explicit that the event page closes while the underlying quests stay completable afterwards; 2.9’s notice does not repeat that promise, so treat the page’s own window as the deadline for the page rewards.

The four minigames

Into the Heartvoice Garden

You enter the subconscious of the Shroomseras and sort through their heart-voice graffiti to untangle what they cannot say out loud. Infold’s framing: “Confusion, worry, sensitivity… These tangled feelings have left this maze of emotions with no way out.”

Two camp residents are quoted by name in the official material, and the second one is a better joke than a preview image usually gets. Jon-35 complains that back in Heaven’s Reach the “black robes” would smack him on the head whenever he asked why, and he intends to keep asking. Vigo-99 wonders whether the whole beautiful summer camp is a dream and they never actually left Heaven’s Reach at all.

Rewards: Diamonds, growth materials, and more.

Battle! Too Good to Eat!

A defence minigame at the Sizzle Scouts Club Grounds. Esselings follow the smell of food; you assemble skewers from ingredients and aim them at whatever is walking in. The official Battle Tips are two lines and they are the whole strategy:

That second line is the one that decides whether you are playing this well or mashing. Clear it for the title Sizzle Scouts’ Skewer Master, Diamonds and growth materials.

Gulp! Snailfruit Time!

At the Snail Caretakers Club Grounds, you feed giant snails the right Snailfruit. The club’s leader Urili states the rule outright: there are three different flavours of Snailfruit, “every snail has its own favorite, so watch carefully to see which one each wants, then feed it the matching Snailfruit as quickly as you can.”

Three flavours and a timer. Rewards are Diamonds and growth materials.

Create! Let Imagination Roam!

At the Whimsy Shroom Club Grounds: study an artwork, then rebuild it from scattered pieces from memory. Nikki’s own instruction in the official material is “carefully memorize the image shown to you. Then, recreate it from memory with the scattered pieces.” Momo asks whether this means he is the muse.

Rewards: Diamonds and growth materials.

What the 24 August 2026 check did not confirm

The 24 August 2026 check recorded the following as unconfirmed:

Every block in Infold’s own 2.9 material carries the same footnote: “This is an in-development version of the game. Please refer to the actual in-game content.” Names and numbers on this page can move on update day, and we will move with them.

FAQ

When does Infinity Nikki 2.9 start and end? It arrives with the update on 27 August 2026 (UTC-7), which is 28 August (UTC+8), and every event listed above ends at 23 September 2026, 12:49 (UTC-7) — the same instant as 24 September, 03:49 (UTC+8).

What is the Shroom-Friend Summer Camp? The frame for the whole version: a camp in Elderwood Forest organised into clubs, where 2.9’s exclusive quest and three of its four minigames take place. Officially described as “where you can discover the world and yourself.”

What rewards does A Carefree Summer give? Resonite Crystals, Diamonds, growth materials, the neckwear sketch Future View and the earring sketch Heartward Warmth. Separately, completing tasks while the Events-interface task page is open adds extra Diamonds and the limited card Sunny Adventure.

Is there a new 5-star outfit in 2.9? Yes — Florabound Promise, on the Heartfelt Limited-Time Resonance banner. It is not part of the free event track. See the 2.9 banner page.

What are the four 2.9 minigames called? Into the Heartvoice Garden, Battle! Too Good to Eat!, Gulp! Snailfruit Time!, and Create! Let Imagination Roam! Those are Infold’s English names, published in the official English event post.

Who are the Shroomseras? The mushroom folk whose subconscious you enter in Into the Heartvoice Garden. Two are named in the official material: Jon-35 and Vigo-99.

How many Snailfruit flavours are there? Three. The Snail Caretakers’ leader Urili states it in the official 2.9 material, along with the rule that each snail has a different favourite.

Does 2.9 add a new region? Not that Infold has said. The camp and the Heartvoice Garden appear in screenshots, but the notice never states whether they are new open-world areas or event instances.

Every event name, quest name, minigame name, NPC name, club name, reward and the event window on this page is read from Infold Games’ own English post V2.9 | “Bloom Beneath Bright Skies” Event Details, published 23 August 2026 at 04:10 UTC and confirmed present in the English feed of Infold’s news API (/api/news?locale=en) on 24 August 2026 — a change from our previous check, when the English feed’s newest item was 5 August and the only 2.9 post anywhere was the Traditional Chinese 2.9版本「向晴空綻放」活動說明. The club roster, the Battle Tips, the three-flavour Snailfruit rule, the Jon-35 and Vigo-99 lines, the Heartvoice Tree-Hollow and the camp overview copy come from the images attached to that same English post, which unlike the Chinese post’s images are in English. The event window was cross-checked against the Traditional Chinese notice’s native UTC+8 wording. Version 2.9’s launch date is stated in Infold’s own English 2.9 trailer description on its official English YouTube channel — “launches on August 27 (UTC-7)” — and that channel is the one linked from infinitynikki.infoldgames.com, which is how we know it is first-party. The maintenance-pattern reasoning is summarised from Infold’s 2.4 to 2.8 update notices on the Steam news feed for app 3164330 and is set out in full on our release-date page. No datamine, leak or beta-build source is used on this page, and no name here is our translation — where an English name exists it is Infold’s, and where one does not, we say so.
