Where Flowers Wake: the 2.9 banner, and why pressing ×1 costs you a hundred pulls

There is one button on this banner and it decides whether 2.9 costs you 80 pulls or 160. Infold’s own wording, from its own outfit preview:

“During this Heartfelt Limited-Time Resonance, the bonus 10-draw can only be triggered by selecting [×10 Resonate]. Resonances made through [×1 Resonate] do not count toward triggering the bonus. Please take note.”

That is the whole page in one paragraph, and it is worth internalising before 27 August, because the habit most players have — tapping single pulls to watch them land — is the one habit this banner punishes hardest.

What the banner is

Heartfelt Limited-Time Resonance: Where Flowers Wake (Traditional Chinese: 心意限定共鳴「初醒的花庭」). Infold’s English tagline for it, printed as the abstract on its own 2.9 trailer post, is “Resonate 10 Times, Get 10 Free.”

Infold’s trailer says plainly that “the new 5-star outfit will be available during the event,” and publishes Florabound Promise’s preview under the banner’s name. Gilded Dreamsong’s preview is published as part of the same 2.9 batch; Infold has not printed a star rating next to it, so we are not printing one either. What we can say is structural: Florabound Promise evolves through three stages (Blazing Heart, Pure Radiance, Prismatic Dream) plus a Glow Up into Florabound Promise: Growth, while Gilded Dreamsong has a single evolution (Light Follower) plus a Glow Up (Dawn Painter).

The 10-get-10, exactly as Infold states it

Three sentences, and each one matters:

1. “Each time you select [×10 Resonate] on the event page, an additional free 10-draw will trigger immediately.”
2. “This bonus can be triggered up to 10 times” — after that, further 10-draws trigger nothing. Ceiling: 100 free Resonances.
3. “Bonus 10-draw Resonances also count toward both guarantee and cumulative draw counts.”

Point three is the one that turns a nice bonus into a genuinely different banner. The free draws are not cosmetic freebies sitting outside the system — they advance your guarantee counter and your cumulative-total counter exactly like paid ones. Which means the reward ladders below are reachable for roughly half the spend, up to the cap.

The maths, and it is just arithmetic

Every ×10 press inside the promotion gives you 20 counted Resonances for the price of 10. Ten presses exhaust it.

So: the 160 milestone costs 80 paid Resonances instead of 160. And 230 — the top of everything on this banner — costs 130 instead of 230. Past 200 counted, the discount is over and every further pull is full price.

Now the same table if you press ×1. Nothing above happens. 160 costs 160, 230 costs 230, and you have thrown away up to 100 free Resonances for the pleasure of watching them arrive one at a time. There is no version of this banner where singles are correct.

The full reward ladder, official

Two tracks, both keyed to your total Resonance count in Where Flowers Wake — which, again, includes the free draws.

Glowing Gift — the bonus track specific to this Heartfelt Limited-Time Resonance:

Resonance Milestone Rewards — the standard track every limited banner carries: Florabound Promise: Makeup, Momo’s Cloak: Flower Fairy, and at 160 Resonances, the decoration Moondew Blossoms, which can be placed in open spaces for photography.

Read the two together and the shape of the banner is obvious. 80 paid pulls clears the 160-decoration and every Glowing Gift step up to 110. 130 paid pulls clears literally everything. Those are the two numbers to plan around.

What Sylvan Glow actually does

Worth reading before you decide this is a dress rather than a tool, because it is unusually mechanical for a 5-star ability.

Using it puts Nikki into the Forest Radiance state, which persists until logout or until you turn it off. In that state:

• It farms insects for you. Energy pulls nearby creatures in; attracted insects become forest butterflies that follow Nikki, each butterfly carrying 5 insects, up to 6 butterflies at once. You then switch to another ability and catch the ones trailing you. In Co-op you cannot see or catch other stylists’ butterflies.
• It is a battery for Itzaland’s regional abilities. When you use Default: Gigantification, Dawn Stroll: Sticky Claw, Default: Machine Control, or the Skystride Dragon Statue and their own energy runs out, Forest Radiance energy is consumed automatically so the effect keeps going.
• Its energy regenerates over time and can be topped up by collecting Blings.
• It does not work in certain stages or in the Mira Crown Merit Arena.

That second bullet is the reason this ability is worth more to an Itzaland player than the preview video makes it look: it removes the thing that interrupts Itzaland traversal.

Evolution rewards

Official, from the outfit preview:

• Stage 1 — the pose Dawn Butterfly Whisper.
• Stage 2 — Sunlit Sway for Momo’s Camera: Framed Moment, and the decoration Moondew Blossoms: Radiance, with a new look, special-effect colours and interactive animations.
• Stage 3 — Sunlit Vow: Makeup, a new idle animation, the poses Fruity Thoughts, Petal Whispers and Blow Away Sunlight, enhanced special effects, and alternative details on some pieces.

What Infold has not published

Be careful here, because this is where most banner pages start guessing.

• The per-Resonance cost. No official figure appears in any 2.9 material.
• The drop rates. Not in the 2.9 notice, not in the trailer, not in the outfit previews.
• The guarantee number. Infold’s own wording confirms a guarantee count exists — bonus draws “count toward both guarantee and cumulative draw counts” — but does not say what it is. • Whether the bonus applies to any other banner. The wording is scoped to “this Heartfelt Limited-Time Resonance.” Do not assume the next one repeats it.
• The banner’s end date. The 2.9 event window closes 23 September 2026, 12:49 (UTC-7), and limited Resonances have historically closed with the version, but the 2.9 material does not state the banner’s own end.

Everything above carries Infold’s standard footnote: “This is an in-development version of the game. Please refer to the actual in-game content.”
