Clawed is a co-op survival horror game set in an abandoned dinosaur park, and it released on Steam on 13 August 2026 at $17.99 — a 10% launch-week discount off its $19.99 list price. This page tracks what is actually confirmed and, just as importantly, what still is not.
The date moved, and the reason was stated plainly
Clawed was originally scheduled for 23 July 2026. On 7 July, Flatrock Games announced the move to 13 August, saying that 23 July “has become an exceptionally crowded launch day, with a significant number of major game releases now scheduled for the very same day.” The studio added that “August 13 gives Clawed the launch window it deserves.”
That is worth knowing if you have seen 23 July quoted anywhere — a lot of listing sites still carry the old date.
The unlock hour was published
10:00 AM PDT on 13 August 2026 — stated in Flatrock Games’ own launch-eve announcement of 12 August, alongside the price. That is 17:00 UTC, 18:00 BST, 19:00 CEST, and 01:00 on 14 August in UTC+8.
The same post gives the pricing directly: RRP $19.99 USD, launch discount 10% — $17.99 USD, and mentions the game passed 260,000 wishlists before release. Flatrock describes itself as “our small studio in Australia”, and Clawed is its first commercial release.
What you need to run it
The Steam page lists Windows 10/11 only — no macOS or Linux build, and no Steam Deck compatibility rating is shown, so Deck performance is genuinely unknown rather than merely unrated by us.

Try it before launch
There is a free demo on Steam right now, and it has been patched steadily through the year (0.3.8 up to 0.4.5). It is a separate build from the full game, so nothing you do in it carries over, but it is the most reliable way to find out whether your machine handles the game before you buy.
The two things people keep getting wrong
Player count. The Steam page carries an “Online Co-op” tag and the description invites you to “solve puzzles with your teammates,” but no player limit appears anywhere official.
