All 53 Mortal Shell II achievements, ordered by how many people actually have them

By DayOneFix Editorial · August 24, 2026

Mortal Shell II has 53 achievements, and only 0.5% of owners have all of them. The list below is the game’s own, pulled from Steam, with Valve’s global completion rate beside each entry — so you can see at a glance which are unmissable, which take a detour, and which almost nobody has.

Completing the game itself (This is Not an Achievement) sits at 5.0%. Getting every achievement (No Lifer) sits at 0.5%. That gap is the real shape of this platinum.

Before you start: one warning

Multiple guides in two languages report that equipping the Slayer Seal locks you out of achievements. An English Seal tier list says using it “effectively turns the game into an easy mode” but blocks achievements; a Chinese WeChat guide calls it 「游戏官方外挂(但禁成就)」 (“an official cheat, but it bans achievements”), and a Bilibili video by 御风逆流 is titled 「11 屠杀者印记锁成就」 — literally “the Slayer Seal locks achievements”, at roughly 2,700 plays.

We could not find the developer stating this in any Steam post, so it is very widely reported rather than officially confirmed. On an achievement run, do not equip it.

The list

Ordered from most to least common. The percentage is Valve’s global figure across all Steam owners, read 24 August 2026 — it drifts as more people play, and it counts everyone who owns the game, including people who have not launched it.

The 16 hidden ones

Sixteen achievements ship with their description withheld: Wheelie Good Time, Meat's Back on the Menu, Boys!, Headcase, Baghead, Sester, Something in the deep..., It burnssssssssss, Feed Me, No, You Still Can't Win, Ascension, Nightmare Fuel, Lost Your Head, Ultimate Gainz, Praise him!, It's over now? and Peter's Perfect Parry.

One of them is not really a secret: Sester at 17.7% is the eighth Shell, Genessa. Guide sites name her openly, and she slots exactly where the numbers say a hidden Shell should sit. See our Shells guide.

The rarest three

  1. No Lifer — 0.5%. Unlock all achievements. The completion achievement.
  2. Seeking the Past — 1.0%. Watch all Shell Memories. Every Shell carries cutscenes telling its warrior’s story; watching your first (Haunting Times) is at 64.1%, so this is a 63-point drop-off. It is the single hardest non-completion achievement in the game.
  3. Peter's Perfect Parry — 2.4%. Description hidden. Chinese collectors flagged it early as easily missed — KetTIA’s 「可能错过的『彼得的完美格挡』成就获取」 has roughly 6,300 plays, which for a single-achievement video on a four-day-old game is a lot of people arriving too late.

Just behind them: Stoned (find all Tarstones) at 3.5% and So Fresh, So Clean (cleanse all beacons) at 4.0% — both below the 5.0% completion rate, meaning full collection is genuinely harder than finishing.

The collectible achievements, and what they imply

Five achievements gate the platinum behind exhaustive collection:

CollectionAchievementGlobal
All TarstonesStoned3.5%
All beacons cleansedSo Fresh, So Clean4.0%
All OvaBring My Ova Back to Me8.7%
All SidearmsGuns. Lots of Guns10.3%
All Map FragmentsSat Nav11.0%
All ShellsShell Seeker10.4%
All WeaponsLord of War11.5%
All Lute TracksHeavy Metal15.2%

Heavy Metal — Play all Lute Tracks in the Game is the one people miss the point of: it needs the Troubadour’s Lute sidearm from the One-Legged Wolf Tavern, so it is a weapon-collection problem, not a music one. Where to find it.

Achievements as a walkthrough

Read top to bottom, the list is a spoiler-light critical path: claim your first Shell and weapon, reach Marrowkeep (90.3%), enter the Festival (82.9%), pick up Tiel (75.7%) and Proxima (72.0%), watch a Shell Memory (64.1%), grab the Axe and Dagger (56.1%).

The first real fork is the Old School / Cut You Down to Size pair in the 48–54% band — the Forgotten Crossbow and Veteran’s Battle Axe — and after Vengeance is Mine (Eredrim, 42.3%) the percentages start halving.

Were the achievements translated?

Yes, and it took a complaint. A Bilibili video by 幽儿希卡的小铃铛 titled 「致命躯壳2成就没汉化玩家差评,结果官方马上就解决了」 (“players left negative reviews over untranslated achievements and the developer fixed it right away”, ~47,300 plays) reports Chinese-language achievements were missing at launch. We can confirm the outcome directly: Steam now serves the full 53-achievement list in Traditional and Simplified Chinese, which is where the Chinese names in our Chinese edition of this page come from. We have not found a developer post describing the fix, so the sequence of events is the creator’s account; the current state of the list is ours to verify, and it is translated.

FAQ

How many achievements does Mortal Shell 2 have? 53, including 16 hidden ones. No Lifer requires all of them and is held by 0.5% of Steam owners.

Is there a platinum trophy? On Steam the equivalent is No Lifer — Unlock All Achievements for Mortal Shell II. The game also ships on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; the Steam list is what we verified.

What is the rarest achievement? Excluding No Lifer itself, it is Seeking the Past (watch all Shell Memories) at 1.0%, then Peter's Perfect Parry at 2.4%.

Can I miss achievements permanently? Nothing published names a permanently missable one, but the Slayer Seal is widely reported to block achievements while equipped, so avoid it on a completion run.

How long does 100% take? No credible playtime figure exists four days after launch, so we are not giving one. The shape of the data — 5.0% finish the story, 0.5% get everything — says the collection tail is roughly ten times as selective as the campaign.

Do achievements unlock in the beta or Advance Access? Advance Access is the full game running three days early for Devout Edition owners, so it is the same achievement set. The free open beta was a separate build containing the Prologue and an early open-world slice — see our beta page.

Every achievement name, description and percentage in this article was read directly from Mortal Shell II’s Steam achievement page on 24 August 2026, and cross-checked against the machine-readable global percentage API and the achievement block of the store API entry, which independently gives the total as 53. Valve’s percentages are computed across every account that owns the game and will have moved since; the hidden-description entries are hidden by the developer, not omitted by us. Platform and edition details are from the Steam listing and the developer’s Advance Access and launch posts on the Steam news hub, same date. The Slayer Seal warning is assembled from an English Seal tier list surfaced 24 August 2026, a WeChat guide found via 搜狗微信搜索 the same day, and a Bilibili video by 御风逆流; no developer statement supports it, which is why it is labelled reported. The Chinese-localisation account comes from a Bilibili video by 幽儿希卡的小铃铛 found 24 August 2026 — we verified the current translated state of the list ourselves rather than taking the video’s word for it, but not the sequence of events it describes.
