The Honkai: Star Rail 4.5 livestream — time, links and codes
By DayOneFix Editorial · August 12, 2026
Officially scheduled: Friday 14 August, 19:30 (UTC+8) — that is 7:30 AM ET / 4:30 AM PT the same day, and 13:30 in central Europe. The announcement fixes the version name too: “To Roll the Stars in Astropolis.”
Where to watch
The official announcement lists the stream page directly:
- YouTube — youtube.com/live/xpZoM9t7KRA, the exact stream URL from the announcement rather than the channel page
- Twitch — twitch.tv/honkaistarrail
No account or region gymnastics needed; both carry the same broadcast, which HoYoverse says is being broadcast “from the official livestream studio in Astropolis.”
Two things air at 19:30, not one
This trips people up every time, and almost no guide mentions it. Alongside the special program, Planarcadia TV’s special broadcast “Goodbye, All of Planarcadia” airs at the same moment — 14 August, 19:30 (UTC+8) — but on X, not YouTube or Twitch.
They are separate broadcasts on separate platforms at the same time. The special program on YouTube/Twitch is the one carrying the banners, the kits and the three codes; the X broadcast is a story piece closing out Planarcadia, which is the region the version moves on from. If you only have attention for one, watch the special program — the X piece will still be there afterwards.
Worth knowing why Planarcadia is getting a send-off at all: 4.5 is a Trailblaze Continuance set, in HoYoverse’s own words, “shortly — or perhaps a long time — after the conclusion of our journey in Planarcadia.”
What the stream will settle
The 4.5 countdown page tracks what is currently cadence-based versus official; the stream is where the remaining gaps close:
- Banner order and rerun picks — Robin • Summeretto and Aventurine • Waveflair are officially named as the version’s stars, but phase composition is still schedule-site reporting
- Kit reveals — everything known so far is test-server material; the stream shows the real kits
- The maintenance date — 26 August per the 42-day cadence, formally confirmed by the maintenance notice a couple of days before the update
The codes: how the 300 Jades work
Every HSR special program drops three redemption codes worth 100 Stellar Jades each, revealed at intervals during the broadcast. Two things about them:
- They expire fast — roughly a day. Redeem the same evening.
- Redemption: in game via the phone menu → ⋯ → Redemption Code, or HoYoverse’s web redemption page for HSR.
We post the three codes on the countdown page as the stream airs — and when they expire, they stay listed as expired records rather than vanishing.
If you can’t watch live
The codes and every confirmed detail land on our 4.5 countdown page during and immediately after the broadcast — checking that page within ~24 hours of the stream is enough to catch the codes before expiry.
Codes from the stream land on our codes page with expiry times attached.
