Honkai: Star Rail 4.5 banners
By DayOneFix Editorial · August 13, 2026
The special program has aired — and the banner line-up still has not been published in text anywhere. (Checked 14 August, shortly after the broadcast.) HoYoverse’s post-program brief covers the codes and points at the replay; it does not list phases. The schedule sites that usually carry the table are still showing the same pre-stream predictions they had this morning.
So this page does what it did before the stream: separates what is genuinely settled from what is still someone’s guess. Two things did become official tonight, and they are below.
What is actually confirmed
- The version is “To Roll the Stars in Astropolis” — the official special program announcement carries the name, the broadcast time, and a summer-themed key visual. Full livestream guide.
- The update lands 26 August — now official rather than cadence-based. HoYoverse’s Version 4.5 store post dates its new items to “after the Version 4.5 update on 2026/08/26.” That is your budget deadline.
- The version’s setting is Astropolis, which is where the new content and, historically, the debut character are anchored.
- Both headliners’ rarity, element and path are official, from HoYoverse’s drip marketing: Robin • Summeretto is 5-star Wind on the Path of Remembrance, and Aventurine • Waveflair is 5-star Quantum on the Path of Elation. What drip marketing never gives is the phase order, the reruns or the kits.
That is the complete list of confirmed facts. Everything else circulating — phase order, which reruns share each window, the light cones — is still pre-release reporting, and HSR’s own history shows that order gets shuffled before release.
One official number worth folding into a budget. The same store post sets the Herta Contract window as 26 August to 2026/09/28 03:59 (UTC+8) — about 33 days, where a standard version runs 42. Shop windows do not always span a whole version, so treat it as a signal rather than proof. But if 4.5 really is short, the gap between “I’ll get them on the rerun” and the rerun actually arriving shrinks with it.
The structure that is reliable
Even without knowing the names, the shape of a Star Rail version is dependable:
- Two phases. Phase 1 runs from update day for roughly three weeks; phase 2 follows for the rest of the patch.
- Each phase carries one character banner and one light cone banner, with the light cone matching that phase’s featured character.
- Reruns share the phase with the debut, which is where most players’ actual pull decisions get made.
- The update itself follows about twelve days after the program — for 4.5 that points at the maintenance window already tracked on the countdown page.
If you are budgeting Stellar Jade, that structure is enough to plan with: assume two windows, assume a rerun you might want in each, and know your total before names are attached to it.
What the program delivered, and what it did not
Delivered:
- Three redemption codes, 300 Stellar Jades between them, all expiring 23:59 on 15 August (UTC+8) — the codes, with the official expiry
- The 26 August update date, confirmed in writing by the store post
- A version trailer, the store line-up, and an announcement that a Honkai: Star Rail × Zenless Zone Zero collaboration arrives in Winter 2026
Not yet in text anywhere: the phase split, the reruns sharing each window, and the light cones. Those were shown on the broadcast; nobody has published a sourced table yet.
How we cover it
The line-up goes onto this page and the 4.5 countdown page once there is something attributable to point at — an official post or the in-game event warp notice, which is what actually fixes phase dates. This page still carries no names against phases, because a banner page that guesses is worth less than one that says the table has not been published yet.
FAQ
Has the HSR 4.5 banner line-up been officially announced? Not in text. The special program showed the line-up on the broadcast, but as of our check on 14 August — shortly after it aired — no phase table has been published anywhere attributable, and the schedule sites are still showing their pre-stream predictions.
When does HSR 4.5 release? 26 August — now official rather than cadence-based. HoYoverse’s Version 4.5 store post dates its new items to “after the Version 4.5 update on 2026/08/26.”
Who are the 4.5 headline characters? Robin • Summeretto — 5-star Wind on the Path of Remembrance — and Aventurine • Waveflair — 5-star Quantum on the Path of Elation. Both are official from drip marketing; the phase order, reruns and kits are not.
How are HSR banners structured within a version? Two phases: phase 1 runs from update day for roughly three weeks, phase 2 covers the rest of the patch. Each phase carries one character banner and one matching light cone banner, and reruns share the phase with the debut.
Is 4.5 a shorter version than usual? Possibly. The store post sets the Herta Contract window at about 33 days where a standard version runs 42 — but shop windows do not always span a whole version, so treat that as a signal rather than proof.
