Big Walk Crossplay and Platforms, Explained

By DayOneFix Editorial · August 6, 2026

Planning a group walk across different consoles? Good news first: Big Walk has full crossplay support — the official FAQ confirms players on different systems can play together, and with a 2–12 player range you’ll likely need it.

Two details worth flagging:

Will Big Walk come to Xbox?

As of August 2026, no Xbox version has been announced — and the official FAQ goes further than silence. After listing Windows and Mac (Steam and the Mac App Store), PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, it states plainly: “No other platforms are planned at this time.” That is a direct answer rather than an omission, and it covers Xbox and Game Pass together. House House’s previous game, Untitled Goose Game, did eventually reach Xbox — so a later port isn’t unthinkable — but there is currently nothing official to point to. Treat any “Big Walk Xbox release date” claims you see elsewhere as speculation.

Full crossplay, the platform list (Windows and Mac via Steam and the Mac App Store, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2), the parity between in-game text chat and voice, and the fact that sessions are player-hosted with progress living on the host’s save all come from the official Big Walk FAQ. The “no Xbox, no Game Pass” answer is not inferred from the FAQ’s silence: after listing those platforms the FAQ states plainly that no other platforms are planned at this time, and that positive statement is what we cite. House House’s previous game, Untitled Goose Game, did eventually reach Xbox — that much is public record — but it is not an official commitment about this one, and as of August 2026 there is no citable Xbox statement to point at.
