Liino build, teams and the fine print — what CN players found first
By DayOneFix Editorial · August 15, 2026
Liino is the Electric 6-star Supporter nicknamed Dawnstar, and the reason Electric teams were waiting for her is simple: she buffs and heals at the same time, and the buff is not Electric-only.
This page is about how she plays. If you are deciding whether to pull before her banner closes, that is the banner page instead.
What she actually does
- Amplifies Electric and Nature damage simultaneously. CN reporting puts the figure around 55% to both while her ultimate is active. That dual coverage is the whole argument for her — she is not locked to one team archetype.
- Heals while she buffs. The community shorthand is “healing plus amp”, and it is why she competes with dedicated healers rather than sitting alongside them.
- Two of her stack past 100% amplification. Players running doubled buffers report the effect exceeding 100%, so she is not redundant with herself in the way most supports are.
The three things she does not do
This is the part worth reading twice, because every one of these has caught players out.
She does not heal out of combat. Out of a fight, the healing simply does not apply. If you are used to a support topping the squad up between engagements, she will not.
She does not add attack output — she replaces it. CN players are explicit that Liino occupies a normal-attack teammate’s slot rather than adding one. Anyone reading her as “free extra damage on top of your existing rotation” has the maths wrong; you are trading a slot for buff and healing uptime.
Re-pressing her skill before it ends wastes it. The repeated warning is: do not tap the skill a second time before the first has finished. It is the single most common execution error on her.
Two smaller mechanics that get misdescribed:
- Turning her skill off costs nothing — and refunds nothing. It does not consume skill points, but it is not a refund either. Both readings circulate; neither is a reason to toggle it casually.
- Potential 1 makes her first cast free. If you are weighing potential levels, that is the one with an immediately felt effect.
Where she fits
Electric teams wanted her badly, and the CN framing is that Electric simply had no other Supporter — which is less “she is the best” than “there was nothing else”.
But “the final piece” is overstated, and CN players push back on it directly: Electric still lacks a 6-star Vanguard, with the current option being a 5-star. So Liino closes one hole and leaves another open.
She also buffs Nature, which is the underrated half. If your Nature units are further along than your Electric ones, she is not a wasted pull while you wait for an Electric carry.
Her biggest practical effect is ramp-up. The point CN players make against strength-chart arguments is that she cuts how long an Electric team takes to get going — a cold-start improvement that a damage table does not show.
Investment notes
Do not hoard skill materials. The repeated CN observation is that the skill upgrade crystals pile up faster than you can spend them — players describe levelling every character’s skills to 6 and still having a surplus. If you have been rationing, stop.
In the open world, use her skill freely. One of the most-appreciated quality-of-life points is that her overworld healing removes the routine of hunting for a beacon whenever you are low.
What we could not verify
Exact numbers. The 55% figure and the base-attack values come from CN first-week testing rather than published data, and first-week numbers on this game have moved before. Treat them as scale, not precision.
The same applies to any tier placement. Chinese discussion of Liino was unusually argumentative — half of it about whether “final piece of the Electric team” is fair — and this page reports the disagreement rather than picking a side.

Kit behaviour, the out-of-combat healing limit, the normal-attack slot, the skill re-press warning, potential 1’s free cast, team framing and the skill-material surplus are community reporting from high-view Bilibili coverage of Liino’s release and its danmaku threads, collected 15 August 2026. Official terminology — Electric, Nature, Vanguard, Supporter, Potential — follows the game’s own English naming. None of the numbers are published by the developer and all are labelled as community testing.
Date correction, 24 August 2026. The link above previously read “the 30 August deadline”. GRYPHLINE’s version overview issued to press on 21 August 2026 dates version 1.5 [Dreamscape of Wind and Snow] to 2 September 2026, reported by Gematsu and carried by Inven Global as a GRYPHLINE press release; it gives a date and no time. Checked 24 August 2026, that date does not yet appear on Hypergryph’s own news hub, whose newest bulletin is still the DEV Comm of 22 August. This page previously said 30 August, which came from a third-party schedule derivation (Game8’s) of when the version would land; the publisher’s own announcement supersedes it, and because the Liino banner is worded as running until “before version update and maintenance”, the banner runs three days longer than we said.
