It is not 25 September any more
If you have the old date in your calendar, change it. Capcom moved the release forward by three weeks in a press release dated 2 July 2026: from Friday 25 September to Friday 4 September.
That matters more than a usual date change, because a lot of coverage still carries the original figure — including PlayStation’s own June announcement, which is still live and still says 25 September. It has not been retracted; it has been superseded.
What time does it unlock?
Not announced. Capcom’s official site gives the date only.
There is the same one-day split you see on other worldwide releases: Capcom says 4 September, the Steam listing says 3 September. That is consistent with a single global unlock moment landing on different calendar days by region, not with two different release dates. No hour has been published, so the countdown above runs to the start of 4 September where you are, labelled as exactly that.
Editions
No edition plays early. All three carry the same date:

- Deluxe Edition — $79.99; adds the Deluxe Kit (charms, an outfit, appearance skins)
