Gallipoli is the fourth entry in BlackMill Games’ WW1 series — the studio behind Verdun, Tannenberg and Isonzo — moving the trench warfare to the Ottoman Fronts: 50-player objective battles, 10 historic classes, and a campaign co-developed with input from the Directorate of the Gallipoli Historic Site in Türkiye.

The delay, plainly

The confusion in search results is real and traceable: Gallipoli was originally dated 21 May 2026, and BlackMill pulled it two days before launch (their 19 May announcement). On 17 July they re-revealed the date as 20 August with a community trailer addressing feedback from the delay window. If you saw a May date somewhere, that is the old one.

FAQ

When does Gallipoli come out?

20 August 2026 on Steam, per BlackMill's official re-reveal of 17 July. No unlock hour has been announced — the developer's posts give the date only, so treat hour-precise countdowns elsewhere as guesses.

Was Gallipoli delayed?

Yes, once. The original release date was 21 May 2026 (announced in late April); on 19 May — two days before launch — BlackMill announced a delay, and on 17 July re-revealed the date as 20 August. That is why conflicting dates float around.

Is Gallipoli coming to PS5 or Xbox?

Not announced. The Steam listing is Windows-only and none of BlackMill's announcements through 18 August mention console versions. The series precedent cuts both ways: Isonzo did reach consoles — but for Gallipoli there is currently nothing official, so pages listing console dates are inventing them.

How much does Gallipoli cost?

$29.99 / €29.99 base, with a 25% launch discount ($22.49) — per the official OUT NOW announcement, which also lists the Epic Games Store alongside Steam. The Isonzo-precedent guess this page carried pre-launch turned out exact.
