How Silver Palace beta access works — and what's next after Dichotomy
By DayOneFix Editorial · August 18, 2026
The “Dichotomy” beta is over. It ran from 23 July to 13 August 2026, ending at 10:00 (UTC+8), and all progress was wiped. If you are searching for a way in right now, there is nothing to get into — this page is about how access worked, because the same machinery will almost certainly run again.
How people actually got in
Two routes, both official:
- The recruitment form — open on the official site from 26 June to 16 July, 23:59 (UTC+8). Limited, free, data-wipe test; selected applicants were notified by email from the Silver Palace operations sender and could verify access on the site’s check page.
- Twitch Drops — from 23 July, watching designated Silver Palace streams could grant test access. This is worth remembering: it is the route that stays open after recruitment closes.
The rule that actually got people banned
The official reminders carried an unusually sharp edge: test access binds to the first device you log in with. Logging in from a different device meant an account ban and disqualification. If you get into a future test, pick your machine before you launch the client, not after.
The hardware bar
Betas were Windows PC only — no console or mobile test builds despite all three platforms being announced. The officially recommended spec published for the pre-download (Monotype notice, January 2026):
| Recommended | |
|---|---|
| CPU | Intel Core i7-12700 |
| GPU | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD equivalent |
| RAM | 16 GB |
| Storage | 60 GB on SSD |
The installer checked specs automatically and refused machines below the bar, so these numbers were enforced, not advisory. One quirk from the official notes: fullscreen was unsupported on 4:3 monitors.
What to do now
- Pre-register on the official site — recruitment invitations have drawn from it
- Watch for the next recruitment window — both tests so far opened sign-ups roughly two to four weeks before the test began
- A third test is the community’s expectation after a wipe-ending beta, but it is not announced — the release-date page tracks what is actually known
